Animal Services

The Town of Elton was recently awarded a grant of $50,000 for implementing improvements to the Town of Elton Animal Services Department.  These monies HAVE NOT been received yet-we will be sure to keep YOU, our residents, updated on when these funds actually become available!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we undergo renovations to the existing premises.  Also, please be aware that with price indexes as they are at the present time, we will move with due diligence in utilizing these funds.

Elton Animal Services provides the following assistance to all residents and is dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.

• Responding to stray animal complaints
• Investigating dangerous animals
• Impoundments
• Trapping nuisance wildlife 
• Carcass removal
• Ordinance enforcement
