Brown Water and Hydrant Flushing

The Town of Elton is currently having the hydrants flushed and tested.

This is the first phase of restoration of the Town's hydrants.

The flushing may result in brown or rust colored water.

The water is still safe for use.

Please call the office to report if you experience discoloration, so we will know which areas of Town are being affected.

Entergy Work Zone

Entergy is working in front of Elton High School-also, a massive tree is being removed at that corner .

This will probably take the majority of the day.

Please reroute your traffic concerning the front of the school and parking in front as well to avoid debreis hazards during the removal.
