 Water bills are to be paid by/before the 15th of the month to AVOID late fees which become charged on the 16th of each month.

This has been effective since 2022.  

If bills are not paid by the 25th of the month they are automatically charged a $50 reconnect fee.  This has also been in effect since 2022.

When the 15th falls on a weekend or a holiday and the office is closed, there are still ways to pay your bill.  There is online payment availability or the drop box at City Hall, which is a secure box and has surveillance.

I understand that many people do not trust the drop box...the answer to this is to come into the office Monday-Thursday when the office is open from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM.  

Also, it is ILLEGAL to waive late fees or penalties assesed due to lack of timely payments.

Adjustments may be made legally when there is CONFIRMED error of leakage-this is why having ServLine is so great.   ServLine  is an insurance billed each month on the water bill to offset such issues.  This service is available ONLY if subscribed to by residents.

Due to our austerity budget, we are closed on Fridays.  

ALL of this information is printed on the back of your water bill.
