Town of Elton Receives Recognition in Sewer Department

Recently, the Town of Elton received recognition in the Wastewater Sector at the Louisiana Rural Wastewater Association Conference.
Mr. Ken Kirchner, Elton's Wastewater manager has worked consistenly to stay abreast of new indicators for improvments for Elton residents.
Although Elton did not receive the award, the nomination in itself is worth mentiioning as an honor to the hard work and dedication of Mr. Ken.
Additionally, he was able to take his final certification in Water Distribution. This means he is fully certified in all areas of drinking water and wastewater.
Congratulations to Mr. Ken! The Town of Elton is moving forward and is proud to have a worker who exhibits the desire to continue pressing toward a more positive outlook in all areas of our water systems.
